Zoevera (prefers to be called Zoey) is a Ph.D. student in the English department who has worked both as a tutor and English 101.10 UTA for the UCLA as an undergraduate. Her teaching experience includes teaching/tutoring English 101.10 at Illinois State University as well as teaching/tutoring developmental English composition at Heartland Community College. She received her B.A. in English in 1998 and upon graduation she was commissioned through the ROTC program and lived in Europe for 3 years. While in Europe she became well-traveled and received her M.A. in Human Relations through the University of Oklahoma European Division. As a center supervisor, Zoey’s primary role is to manage the tutors in the center and co-teach the English 291 course for first-time English 101.10 UTAs. In Zoey’s spare time she likes to spend quality time with her family, husband (Michael) and two sons (Brian & Jeremiah). Her ultimate goal is to become an English professor and administrator at a four-year institution. |
