What is our Mission?
To provide incentive/support and recognition for selected Illinois State
University students.
How much?
$300 per student
When?
Usually, the last Friday U-Club Discussion of Fall Term
This year, December 7, 2007
Who Qualifies?
Both Undergraduate and Graduate Students qualify. They must be in
good academic standing and demonstrate and economic hardship/circumstance.
How to apply?
Information about the scholarship is distributed through the college
offices to departments in October. Check with your major department office.
Applications and letters of reference will be the primary basis for
selection. Three (3) sources of reference pertaining to recommendation
should be submitted to the selection committee before November 1, 2007.

What is the procedure?
A committee of four University Club members, appointed by the Board of
Directors, will select recipients from all applications submitted.
Candidates may be asked to schedule a personal interview by the scholarship
committee. Decisions of the committee are final.
