Return to ENG 297 Course Overview
Instructor: Bob Broad, Associate Professor of English
Students in this course must read the required texts. Further readings should be chosen according to their value for the particular individual and collaborative research projects we develop.
Please note: Before you purchase any of the texts published by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), consider joining NCTE first. As a student, you can join NCTE for $15. Membership allows you to subscribe to English Journal at half price (saving $10) and to purchase any of the NCTE texts at significant savings. In fact, you can make back your $15 membership fee in savings when you purchase a couple of NCTE texts. Plus, you will have joined the premiere professional organization for teachers of English in the U.S.
