Salary: $32,500 (plus all expenses while on tour; clients tip generously)
Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Tour Manager with all aspects of tour logistics and leadership. Tour management staff serve as liaison between tour groups and the attractions they visit, places they stay, places they eat, and transportation facilities they utilize. The Associate Tour Manager has particular responsibility for becoming familiar with the areas through which our tours pass: geography, geology, history, etc.

Recent tours have featured the Canadian North, Lake Victoria in Africa, and the Australian Outback. Tour managers and associates must be comfortable around senior citizens; they constitute a majority of our clients.
Other: We conduct upscale tours for the discerning, upscale individual. Tradewind Traveler has been in the customized tour business since 1905. We began with a small walkup office here in town and a railroad sleeping car that we attached to trains crisscrossing the continent. Now our staff approaches one hundred in number and occupies our own new building across the street from the airport. We have indoor parking for all staff and visitors. Associate Tour Managers should anticipate the opportunity to become a Tour Manger within three to five years of employment, if all goes well. Most of our current managers started out with us as an Associate Tour Manager. For the latest information about Tradewind, please consult our Website.
