Education for High School and Beyond
The following websites contain information, training
materials, and other resources for high school and college students as
well as professionals. Educational
and research materials, as well as information on internship opportunities,
and Model UN information are available also.
The Education Initiatives site also acts as a networking tool for
field offices, and includes information prepared by UNICEF staff and consultants.
APSIA, the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs, represents 28 graduate schools of international affairs and 15 affiliated institutions in the United States and abroad. APSIA member schools promote global understanding and cooperation. They train students for leadership positions in the public and private sectors, and for intergovernmental work. APSIA provides information on its members' programs and also represents their interests in national and international forums. This website presents new ideas, innovative approaches, case studies, bibliographies and research results, prepared either by UNICEF staff or by consultants or by others supported by UNICEF. Their purpose is to facilitate the rapid exchange of knowledge and perspectives among field offices and to stimulate discussion. Human Rights Education Associates This site includes resources for schools and training
materials for professionals. This website has information on high school essay contests, curriculum development, internship opportunities, Model United Nations information, and the UNA Student Alliance Program.
