Follow the usual instructions for writing essays in this course. This is to be a shorter essay -- maybe 700 words or so (about 2 pages).
Topic
Describe ways in which the Hindutva movement in India is analogous to Falwell's Moral Majority movement in the US, and ways in which it is not analogous.
Grading
This is a 10-point essay, like the first one of the semester. The usual grading standards apply -- emphasis on clear organization, clarity of expression, steady focus on important aspects of the topic, insight and depth of analysis, strength of argumentation, effective use of the English language, and proper citations.
