Introduction

• Gets attention of audience
• Provides Overview
• Establishes Credibility (How information gathered)

Body

• Central Findings Stated
• Supporting points are organized and consistent
• Transitions are well-done
• Statements are persuasive and accurate
• Statements are supported by facts
• Words, terms,  concepts are clearly explained

Conclusion

• Summarizes main points
• Restates findings

Language is vivid and expressive

Delivery

• Good eye contact (doesn't just read the PowerPoint slides)
• Appropriate volume
• Absence of "umms" "ahhs" etc.
• Absence of phrases such as "kind of like"
• Effective gestures
• Appropriate posture (doesn't roam the floor)
• Appropriate rate of speed
• Time was appropriate and observed

• Left time for Q&A
• Volunteered to answer questions
• Answered questions accurately
