Construct a tabular display with numerical evidence obtained from the 2008 Statistical Abstract addressing each of the following questions.  Provide a citation for the table and a one or two sentence summary of the data.

Example:

True or false: Over the past two decades crude oil production in the United States has been steadily declining.

Answer:
Since 1980, U.S. domestic crude oil production has fallen from 8.6 to 5.1 million barrels per day, a 30% decline.

1. True or False? The the number of active duty armed forces personnel has increased substantially since the start of the Iraq war in May, 2003.  (National Security and Veterans Affairs)

2.   How has the percentage Associates, Bachelors, Master and Doctoral degrees earned by women changed since the 1980?
