| 1. We entered Canada new Winnipeg, just north of Fargo, North Dakota, then took route 16 from Winnipeg through Edmonton, Alberta, to Jasper, Alberta, which is due west of Edmonton. | 2. From Jasper we went to Prince George on 16, then North on 97 to St. John (North of Dawson Creek) where Alaska/Canada Highway starts (AlCan). |
| 3. From St. John we went to Fort Nelson, to Muncho Lake, Iron Creek (west of Fireside), to Watson Lake on AlCan | 4. From Watson Lake, we traveled to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory on AlCan |
| 5. From Whitehorse we traveled to Haines Jct., Yukon. | 6. We then traveled south from Haines Jct., Yukon on Route 3. through British Columbia to Haines Alaska. |
| 5. We retraced our steps back until we arrived at Jasper, where we went due south through Lake Louise, Banff, and Calgary, then took the Transcanada Highway, Route 1, back to Winnipeg. |
