Two Illinois State University students studying computational physics will spend almost six weeks at the Warsaw College of Science in Poland beginning later this month.

Jennifer Csesznegi of Bloomington and James Woods of Normal will be the inaugural of the members of the new exchange program between that institution and ISU.

Csesznegi and Woods will conduct independent research in Physics.

The first Polish student, Radka Bach will spend the fall 1998, semester at ISU.

The Warsaw College of Science was established five years ago by scientists from two chemistry institutes, two physics institutes and the institute of mathematics in Poland in order to give students the opportunity to work with top scientists in that country.

Professors Qichang Su and Rainer Grobe of ISU's Physics department have been involved in the establishment of the exchange program.
