6/9 (Wed) Departure from Bloomington, Illinois at 8:00 am

6/10 (Thur) Arrived at Beijing Capital Airport at 5:00 p.m., settled down at Shao Yuan, the guests house of Peking University

6/11(Fri) Registered at US Embassy in Beijing, and meeting people at the Semiconductor Institute, visited ISU training Center in Beijing, and had dinner with Dr. Jane Liedkte

6/12 (Sat) Get to know Peking University and its environment, shopping for life necessities (water, etc).

6/13 (Sun) Visited Summer Palace and The Ruined Yuan-Min-Yuan

6/14-18 (M-F) Research at Semiconductor Institute (see detail below)

6/19 (Sat) Visited Forbidden City and Beihai

6/20 (Sun) Visited the Temple of Sleeping Buddha, came back early because of the rain.

6/21-25 Research at Semiconductor Institute, visited the Physics Institute

6/26 (Sat) Visited the Great Wall

6/27 (Sun) Rest and have free activities with new friends

6/28-30 (M-W) Research at Semiconductor Institute, visited the Department of Physics at PKU

7/1 (Thur) Departure from Beijing the Capital Airport at 8 am.

7/1 (Thur) Back at Bloomington airport at 5 pm.
