Minnesotans say U.S. has too many social programs

While most Minnesotans agree that the government has too many social problems and that government should not be responsible for reducing the income gap between wealthy and poor Americans, they are split when it comes to social programs that provide basic support for everyone.

 "When it comes to social programs, everyone should get the same basic support that is now given only to people with lower incomes."
