Lesson PlansTeachers Helping Teachers: Shared Lesson PlansConference and workshop participants have provided us with a variety of lesson plans and activities that you can incorporate into your classes. Below you will find ten topic areas for junior high and high school teachers. Elementary teachers will find three lesson plans each for grades P-2 and 3-6. Each topic area includes lesson plans and associated documents such as rubrics, score sheets, and speech outlines. Some lessons also include streaming video examples. Each lesson plan is written in a standards-based format and includes activities and assessments. About the DocumentsThe lesson plans, rubrics, score sheets, and other documents are in the Portable Document Format (PDF) which you can easily print and distribute in your classes. They require the free Adobe Acrobat reader. Click on the logo to install the software on your machine. Note: Some of the lesson plan documents may also have links to activites associated with that lesson. About the VideosClick on the thumbnail images below to access the videos. To view the videos you must have QuickTime installed. If you are not sure that QuickTime is installed on your machine, visit this link to check or click on the logo to install Quicktime. Note: We recommend that you view the videos with a high- speed connection. Depending on your browser and settings you may have to wait for the video to fully download before it starts playing.
