Public speaking
is the number one fear
in the United States!

Need to give a speech? There are a variety of different types of presentations that a teacher or employer might ask you to give:

  • Impromptu - a speech with little or no preparation time
  • Introduction - a short informative speech about you or someone else
  • Demonstration - informing an audience of how to do something
  • Expository - an in-depth informative speech
  • Sales - a speech designed to convince someone to buy a product or service
  • Convince - a persuasive speech to get the audience to change their mind
  • Problem/solution - a persuasive speech that investigates a problem and suggests a solution to solve that problem
