Ed-Media 2002

World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunications

June 24-29, 2002 - Denver, Colorado

Project director Doug Jennings and multimedia developer Brent Simonds presented a poster session at the Ed-Media Conference in Denver on June 26.

Jennings and Simonds' presentation was titled "Using Interactive Technologies for Speaking and Listening Assessment."

Conference attendees learned that the end result of this project is to improve communication instruction in P-12 schools.

They also discovered that students will be able to voluntarily demonstrate proficiency in speaking and/or listening.

This conference allowed Jennings and Simonds to make valuable contacts and to solicit feedback from others who are doing similar work.
